Watawieh yu fiilen?: Mapping emotions in Kingston is the third and final instalment of the mapping zines. The zine reflects how the deep love and pride Norfolk Islanders have for Kingston is intertwined with fear, anxiety and loss due to their lack of agency in decision-making processes. Such emotions arise from Norfolk Islanders’ role as the core community of this living heritage place, being strongly linked to their custodianship over Kingston and their values concerning democracy and self-determination.
In the zine, collective maps have been split in half across two pages. Full versions of these maps can be viewed and downloaded here.
